Wave House

Wave House

Singapore has always been a crossroads for surfers seeking the perfect waves on beaches around Southeast Asia. However, the island itself lacks the giant waves, which surfers long for. This lack was supplied by opening Wave House, a paradise for surfers, in 2009.

The new attraction is located on Sentosa Island right on the beach. Keen surfers as well as the beginners have a chance to practice here in any weather conditions. Wave house has special equipment to create artificial waves of different height. The equipment was invented by the founder and CEO of Wave House, professional surfer Tom Lochtefeld.

Training for the beginners is very safe here. First, they will be assisted by professional instructors, and second; the wave height is regulated, depending on the qualification of the visitor. Those sportsmen who do skateboarding can try special ramps, which are installed here. There is a big shop for surfers on the territory of Wave House. You can dance, listen to DJ and live music or just chat with fellow surfers in two beach bars. This is the place that fills you with the atmosphere of rest and harmony, where people go to relax with friends and family. It has the sun, the sea, the sand and endless breaking waves.
