Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay nature park dazzles you with its out-of-this-world sceneries. Take a moment to carefully look at these colossal concrete and metal trees with their height ranging between 25 and 50 meters, all covered in orchids, lianas and ferns – this is the most recognizable feature of the park. As it grows darker the trees turn into a glowing multicolored garden by the bay. Passages and bridges connect the constructions allowing you to admire the amazing views from high above the ground.

The garden is an ideal place to rest with your family. Spanning almost 410,000 m2, it features roughly 226,000 species of plants. In the Flower Dome greenhouse (listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the highest glass greenhouse in the world) you can see tropical flora of the Mediterranean. In the impressive tropical Cloud Forest you will have an encounter with an evergreen 35 meter high mountain and find out about rare species looking at its world's largest artificial waterfall.

Hop onto the Garden Cruiser tram and enjoy a leisurely 25-minute informative commentary tour around the Gardens. The 128 meter long OCBC Skyway line connects two of the "Supertrees" (both 25 m high). There is a restaurant here from where you can enjoy a stunning view over Singapore.
