Berliner U-Bahn-Museum

Berliner U-Bahn-Museum

U-Bahn-Museum was opened in 1997 and is devoted to Berlin U-Bahn (subway). The museum was opened mostly thanks to Ernst Neumann, a former worker of the Olympiastadion station that was closed in 1983 and later turned into museum. Berliner U-Bahn-Museum became the third subway museum after the Moscow and Budapest ones. A lot of exhibits telling the story of U-bahn are kept here. The most interesting fact is that some of the exhibits still operate after 70 years of not being used! Rooms of the museum are quite small and not all the objects can be exhibited but still a visit to this museum may be very interesting.
