Museum für Naturkunde

This is one of the largest museums of natural science in Europe. The museum was founded at the beginning of the XIX century and has grown its collection to over 30 million exhibits since those days. The museum is divided into three parts: Zoology, Mineralogy and Palaeontology. Maybe one of the most interesting objects in the museum is the skeleton of Brachiosaurus brancai which is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Its height is 13 meters and length is 22 meters. The museum also owns the unique collection of minerals (including the largest amber stone in the world) and of meteorites.
