Filarmoniya Shostakovicha

The hall was initially built for the Assembly of Russian Nobility (Dvoryanstvo). It can accommodate over 1500 people. In 1926 this was place where Dmitri Shostakovich’s First Symphony received its premiere. At different times the most famous contemporary musicians and best orchestras of the world played on the stage of the Philharmonia.
